The cartographic history of the Channel Islands

A new book from Extraordinary Editions, The cartographic history of the Channel Islands, will be available to buy next year. Any one who is interested in seeing the book can view it at the Priaulx Library, along with an extensive selection of maps from the book, as well as original maps from the Library's collection, dating from the 16th century onwards, that are featured in the book. Also on view are rare books from our collection that include maps as illustrations. The Library has produced some high-quality reproductions of some of our Guernsey maps, which are for sale to visitors to the Library.
