Books and newspapers, 2013

The Library is very grateful to Mrs Hazel Greany for her donation of local books and newspapers, which have come down to her through her Guille family connections. Her gifts include an early guide book to Jersey, Charles II in the Channel Islands, Duncan's History of Guernsey, Jeremie's History, with a note from the author, and a wonderful bound volume of early Gazettes, some of which we have long looked for to fill those small but frustrating gaps in our collection. All can be viewed by visitors to the Library.
